Howdy! Welcome back to Small Town Saturday, where we visit one small town in each state. Today we are visiting Eureka Springs, Arkansas!

Eureka Springs in located right in the heart of the Ozarks. The Ozarks are home to some of the best trout fishing, water sports, camping, hiking and biking! And while you can spend your entire visit adventuring, you would be missing the beauty and flair this special town has to offer.

About Eureka Springs

With its winding mountainside streets, Eureka Springs is secluded and peaceful. The entire downtown area is on the National Register of Historic Places. Victorian homes line the streets hugging the cliff edge. And every block is lined with unique shops, boutiques, museums, and art galleries.

During the late 1800s, people flocked to the area in search of the healing powers of the springs. Today, one can experience the healing power of those springs through numerous day spas, massage therapists, herbalists, and alternative healers.

The springs are not potable, but provide a beautiful picnic and rest area with their perfectly landscaped and lush gardens.
