Howdy! Welcome back to Small Town Saturday! Today we are exploring the beautiful red rock country, Sedona, Arizona.

About Sedona

When you think of Arizona you might imagine desert like lands with one season-hot. But Sedona is actually a four season destination, albeit mild. Sedona sits in the states Goldilocks Zone, 4500 above sea level, where its not too hot and not too cold. Summer is when you can expect the majority of the 18 inches of rain she receives. Sedona also receives an average of 3.5 inches of snow annually. Don’t believe me that Sedona is just right? Check out these average temperatures throughout the year:

Sedona is also centrally located. Sedona is 90 minutes north of Phoenix, 2 hours from the Grand Canyon and 30 miles south of Flagstaff. With such easy access to some of Arizona’s best, you can be sure to have the vacation of a lifetime-right here in the US!
