BHGH News Flash – Italy To Reopen To Vaccinated Tourists! Howdy! Did we mention how excited we are here at BHGH to keep reporting on more and more destinations that will be open for us to visit this summer? Today we are super happy to report that Italy is looking to welcome back international travelers – i.e. Americans! – as early as mid-May.

According to ANSA (Italy’s National Associated Press Agency) Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi announced on Tuesday at the G20 meeting of tourism ministers that the country will be introducing a pass to allow in visitors who meet the criteria in a few weeks – or mid-May – putting Italy ahead of the rest of the EU by one month. As of now this pertains to vaccinated travelers, those who recently tested negative for COVID-19 or those that can provide proof that the recently recovered from COVID-19.
