CDC announces cruises to start sailing once again this July

After 14 months the question of when cruises can resume out of US ports has been answered! Yesterday the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (aka the CDC) announced that it will allow cruises to start sailing once again this July.

In order to do so the cruise lines must be fully compliant with the Conditional Sail Order (or CSO) – which includes the stipulation that 98% of crew members and 95% of passengers are fully vaccinated. And since the news is so – well – new, there are certain to be other updates, clarifications and exceptions in the upcoming weeks and months. But nonetheless all my cruise fanatics out there can breathe a sigh of relief, jump up and down and woo hoo because this is a huge step in the right direction and one that we’ve all been waiting on for well over a year.

So – what do you say we start the conversation and find you your next dream cruise? Give your Travel Gurus a call today and let’s pick your ports of call!

Namaste!
