Howdy! Today we bring you the latest update on travel to Slovenia according to the Slovenian Tourist Board.
Entry into Slovenia without a mandatory home quarantine is permitted to persons that produce one of the following certificates:
A negative PCR test for COVID-19 that is not older than 72 hours according to the date of the swab taken.
A certificate of recovery – proof of a positive PCR test result older than 10 days but not older than six months (180 days), or a doctor’s certificate that the person has had COVID-19 and no more than six months have passed since the onset of symptoms (180 days).
A Covid-19 vaccination certificate proving that the person has been administered the second dose of Comirnaty vaccine manufactured by Biontech/Pfizer, Spikevax vaccine (COVID-19 Vaccine) manufactured by Moderna, Sputnik V vaccine manufactured by Gamaleya National Centre of Epidemiology and Microbiology, CoronaVac vaccine manufactured by Sinovac Biotech, COVID-19 Vaccine manufactured by Sinopharm, Vaxzevria vaccine (COVID-19 Vaccine) manufactured by AstraZeneca and Covishield vaccine manufactured by Serum Institute of India/AstraZeneca or, a combination of the two vaccines listed above, the first dose of COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen manufactured by Johnson and Johnson/Janssen-Cilag.
A certificate of vaccination for persons who have recovered from COVID-19 (a certificate of recovery and proof that the person has been vaccinated with one dose of a vaccine referred to in the preceding point within a maximum period of 6 months since a positive PCR test result or the onset of symptoms). Proof of vaccination may be: a filled-in card of the vaccine producer, an entry in a vaccine booklet or a certificate of vaccination (including a card issued upon vaccination).
An EU Digital COVID Certificate in digital or paper form, bearing a QR code that contains data on a negative PCR or rapid antigen test result, a certificate of vaccination, a certificate of recovery or a certificate of vaccination for recovered persons,
A digital COVID certificate of third countries in digital or paper form, bearing a QR code that contains the same data as the European Digital COVID Certificate and is issued in English by the competent health authority of the third country
If none of the documents can be submitted, a 10-day quarantine is required. A person ordered to quarantine at home upon entering Slovenia may end quarantine early by producing a negative PCR test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2. Testing may only be performed from the fifth day of home quarantine.
