BHGH Travel News: Cuba Is Re-Opening To Visitors

Howdy! In today’s BHGH Travel News update we are excited to announce that Cuba has opened back up to visitors after a twenty month closure.

The following are the guidelines laid out by the Ministry of Tourism in Cuba:

  • The mandatory quarantine of international travelers upon arrival in the country was eliminated   as of November 7.
  • As of November 15, the   border entry PCR-RT will be eliminated.
  • All international travelers (Cubans or foreigners) who arrive in the country must present a health passport or international anti-COVID-19 certificate of those vaccines certified by the corresponding regulatory agencies.
  • All travelers who do not present a health passport or international anti-COVID-19 vaccination certification must carry a   COVID-19 negative RT-PCR certification, carried out no more than 72 hours before traveling, in a certified laboratory. in the country of origin.
  • Children under 12 years of age, regardless of their nationality, upon arrival in Cuba, will be exempt from presenting a vaccination schedule or RT-PCR test.
  • When boarding the flight at origin, airlines will require their passengers to provide evidence of a vaccination certificate, or a negative RT-PCR test applied within 72 hours beforehand, in a certified laboratory in the country of origin.
