BHGH Breaking News! US To Open Travel To Vaccinated Foreign Visitors!

Howdy! Today we bring you what has been some long-awaited news from the US government. Yesterday it was announced that starting in November the United States will lift the travel restrictions that have been in place for 18 months for foreign visitors who have been vaccinated.

Here are some key points from the statement given by White House pandemic coordinator Jeffrey D. Zients:

Travel will be opened for all vaccinated foreign travelers in early November from 33 countries including China, India, Brazil and most of Europe.

Travelers will need to show proof of full vaccination prior to boarding flights here.

A COVID-19 test will also be required within three days of departure and proof of negative results must be shown.

Enhanced contact tracing and masking will also be required – however there will be no quarantine mandate.

Unvaccinated Americans who want to travel home from overseas will have to clear stricter testing requirements as they’ll need to test negative for the coronavirus one day before traveling to the US and show proof that they have bought a test to take after arriving as well.
