BHGH Breaking News! US Announces Re-Opening Date For International Visitors

Howdy! Today we have an update to news we first reported at the end of September regarding the re-opening of the United States to international travelers. At that time, it was announced that the re-opening would happen in November with no specific date given, however on Friday the White House announced the date will now be November 8th.

According to global news agency Reuters: “The White House {on Friday October 15} said it will lift COVID-19 travel restrictions for fully vaccinated foreign nationals effective November 8th, ending historic restrictions that had barred much of the world from entering the United States.”

And according to Kevin Munoz, White House assistant press secretary, on Twitter: “The US’ new travel policy that requires vaccination for foreign national travelers to the United States will begin on November 8.This announcement and date applies to both international air travel and land travel. This policy is guided by public health, stringent, and consistent.”
