Howdy! As the global community continues to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic,  two of the most restricted travel destinations are slowly reopening to tourism. When Is The First Day Of Summer In Australia - When Is Summer In Australia - Best Answer 2022 - Lisbdnet.com

Australia

Australia is now accepting tourists who had been barred from visiting the nation since the country shut its borders back in March of 2020. The country opened up to travel on February 21st with some exceptions and requirements. Only those who are considered fully vaccinated, meaning they have both an approved COVID-19 vaccination and a booster, were allowed to enter. Those visiting were also required to present a negative PCR test within three days of departing. Now the government will soon drop that testing requirement for those looking to visit the land down under. Beginning April 17th, travelers will no longer need to take the pre-travel PCR test. All you’ll be required to do is show proof of vaccination to enter the country.

New Zealand

The island nation of New Zealand by far had some of the most restrictive travel policies in place during the pandemic but that will be changing soon. Up until recently only fully vaccinated New Zealanders and Australians were allowed to enter the country without having to be isolated upon arrival, meaning they didn’t have to spend a few days in isolation once they entered the country. That option will soon be available to U.S. passport holders. The New Zealand government announced that on May 1st, U.S. citizens who are fully vaccinated will be allowed to travel to the country without the need to self-isolate or go into quarantine. American travelers must be fully vaccinated, meaning they must have both an approved COVID-19 shot and booster as well as a negative COVID-19 test taken within one calendar day of departing to the country.

Family Travel Visiting Hot Water Beach in New Zealand with Kids - 7 Wayfinders

Hot Water Beach

In a locality on the North Island of New Zealand, there is a dramatic beach with sounds of surging waves and the feeling of hot sand at low tide. Underneath the sand, there is thermal water that gets up to 147 degrees Fahrenheit which bubbles beneath the surface and can be strongly felt as the ocean water lowers. The whole family can have fun digging holes that they can later submerge themselves in and feel the warm sand. Make sure to watch for the safety tips at the beach since they’re important to follow due to their wave rips. Since in New Zealand their Winter season is our summer season, we recommend that you go this summer so you can feel the cool New Zealand weather and be deep in a steamy bath.

Para Hispanoparlantes:

¡Hola!

¡No espere!

Hawaii

Hawaiian Islands Overview

Did you know that Aloha doesn’t mean hello? Although it is often used as a greeting, it really is so much more than that. As Robin explained it’s actually a value system that’s woven into the fabric of the Hawaiian people with a deep meaning. The term Aloha actually means “the breath of life” in Hawaiian so it’s literally giving and receiving the breath of life. And you know you really can’t have a more intimate connection with someone than letting them know your essence and it’s something that is really intangible.
