Howdy! It’s #TravelUpdateThursday and today’s update is regarding the changing of entry requirements for the country of Belize.
According to the Discovery Belize website – the following are the most up to date protocols:
The Belizean government recently announced new entry requirements for travelers. Beginning. As of August 9, 2021, everyone entering Belize will require a negative COVID-19 test, regardless of vaccination status. A PCR test must have been taken with 96 hours or travel or an approved rapid test may be taken within 48 hours of arrival. Don’t worry – tests are still available at the airport for $50 USD. Clients coming in from Mexico or Guatemala? In order to enter via a land border, they must take a rapid test at the border. No external tests will be accepted at the land border.
