Hawaii Travel Update

Howdy! Thinking of traveling to Hawaii? We don’t blame you! However, we do want to pass along that recently both the Hawaii Tourism Board and Hawaii’s Governor, Governor David Ige are asking us to visit later – rather than sooner – due to an increase in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations.

“We know that it is not a good time to travel to the islands,” Governor Ige said. “The visitors who choose to come to the islands will not have the typical kind of holiday that they expect to get when they visit.”

At this point we don’t know what later encompasses – as of now it is through October of this year – however as we have learned over the past year and a half – things can change on a daily basis.

Our advice? Please keep on dreaming of Hawaii! But let’s support their wishes and plan for another destination this year. Not sure what is comparable to a Hawaii getaway? No problem! Give your Travel Gurus a call and we will be more than happy to give you other options!

Namaste!
