Thanksgiving Around The World
First Stop, USA
New Mexico, USA
For those of us with a love for spice, as well as a trip down the slopes, we would do well to look no further than Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA!
New Mexico chile can be found in nearly every meal, but that’s kind of the point. Like we always say, don’t go swimming if you don’t want to get wet! If you can survive a bit of heat until November 25th, you’ll be rewarded with the start of Christmas season, as well as the opening of Ski Santa Fe. So hang on, enjoy the food, and look out for us on the slopes.
Maryland, USA
If you have a taste for German foods then you are in luck! You can see and feel the influence on food all throughout Maryland. With one of the most common dishes being pork on a bed of sauerkraut. It is also very common to see oysters and other shellfish at the table considering how close to the water the state is. However, those of us that refrain from pork or shellfish, shouldn’t worry as all of your traditional American thanksgiving dishes can be found on nearly every dinner table. So whether you are driving through, or staying for a while, Maryland is an experience worth having!
