Howdy! I recently had the opportunity to tour Planet Hollywood Cancun and want to share it all with you! Be sure and click on each heading to check out my Instagram videos and contact your Chief Travel Guru with any questions. You guys are going to love this property!
First up – the resort entrance where you immediately feel like you are a star! Bright lights and music – and a welcome drink – await! As for dining – they feature 13 restaurants including a buffet. As far as seating, the buffet is divided into sections – one for adults only, one for families and one for Star Class – however everyone has access to the same food. And it is super important to note that my Star Class folks get premium bar options as opposed to house options too!
The beautiful – and delicious smelling spa – where my Star Class folks will have access to the one hour hydrotherapy with an appointment!
The resort features a state-of-the-art fitness center should you want to work out. For the families there is a great family friendly pool complete with a water park and lazy river. There is also a FlowRider that you can get a free pass to if you chose Star Class and stay at least three nights. If you are not Star Class, it is a $20 daily fee and reservations are required. And if you are looking for a destination wedding or a corporate event there is a fabulous raised outdoor area with amazing ocean views.
Some more views of the oh so relaxing Lazy River where you will notice that there is a bar to stop at while you are floating along! The property has a great beach that even features cabanas for outdoor massages should you care to partake!
This is the exclusive section for those staying in the Adult Scene (adult only) part of the resort. One of the coolest things you will find here is that the pool has been set up for some outdoor hydrotherapy sessions at your leisure! There are also two restaurants here that are free for Adult Scene occupants.
Accommodations, Food Options and More
To give you an idea of how the Star Class differs it is basically the same room – just upgraded amenities in the room and what you have access to on property – in addition to a separate check in area and lounge. In the video you will see an Ocean View Junior Suite – King Room. Check out the super cool bathroom mirrors! Another cool feature – instead of irons they use steamers – which I love. And you will find a famous movie quote sprawled across the wall in each room as well (the one in this particular room is a Ferris Bueller classic!) Also, here you will see a mini mall that you can shop on property as well as the several of the restaurants and bars.
