Carnival, Samba Dancing and … Dolphins!

In case you hadn’t heard today is #NationalDolphinDay! And – while we were researching destinations to highlight for this special day we came across a destination that you may not associate with dolphins – Brazil!

That’s right – in addition to attending Carnival and taking Samba lessons – you can swim with the dolphins in this South American country. And not just any dolphins – pink dolphins. So while you are exploring all of the wonders of the Amazon Jungle you also have an opportunity to get up close and personal with these beautiful gentle animals – who love when humans join them and are not afraid of you – they will eat a fish right out of your hands!
