Howdy! We know many of you are wondering which Caribbean destinations are open for travel and which you still have to wait a bit longer to soak up the sunshine on. That being said – today we bring you the latest news regarding travel to the Cayman Islands.
According to the Cayman Islands Government website the earliest we will be able to visit without quarantining is during Phase 4 of their reopening plan – which is scheduled for mid-October. At this time ONLY securely verified vaccinated travelers aged 12 and over will be allowed entry with no quarantine required – meaning unvaccinated tourists under the age of 12 are not allowed. Come Phase 5 – slated for mid-November – vaccinated travelers and unvaccinated visiting children under the age of 12 will be allowed with no quarantine required. Not until Phase 6 do they expect business as usual which will happen in towards the end of January of 2022 at which time all travelers will be welcome (vaccinated & unvaccinated).
