Howdy! It’s #WhatsNewWednesday and your Chief Travel Guru is super excited to announce that one of my very favorite places on earth has announced re-opening plans for June 28th – and that place is the beautiful European country of Switzerland!

Here is the statement posted on the official tourism site for Switzerland as well as the requirements that must be met:

We are very pleased to announce that Switzerland will open to fully vaccinated travelers from the U.S. as of June 28, 2021 (ratified by parliament on June 23). Neither quarantine nor a negative Covid-19 test will be required to enter Switzerland.

All travelers entering Switzerland by plane, with a proof that they have been fully vaccinated (within the last 12 months), must complete the online form of the Federal Office of Public Health FOPH for incoming travelers. Unvaccinated children and adolescents up to 18 years of age who are accompanied by their vaccinated parents may also enter the country.

Zurich! Lake Geneva! Bern! Lucerne! Panoramic train tours! UNESCO World Heritage Sites! Chocolate! Cheese! All this and more awaits in this picturesque European gem. So contact your Travel Gurus today and let us curate the perfect adventure for you in stunning Switzerland this summer!

As Robin explained it’s actually a value system that’s woven into the fabric of the Hawaiian people with a deep meaning. The term Aloha actually means “the breath of life” in Hawaiian so it’s literally giving and receiving the breath of life. And you know you really can’t have a more intimate connection with someone than letting them know your essence and it’s something that is really intangible.
