Please see information below as many airlines are moving terminals in Los Angeles.Highlights:
21 Air Carriers will move overnight at LAX on three upcoming dates; May 12, 14 & 16.
Move affects nearly one-third of the airlines that operate out of LAX.
Many will move to new terminals, others to new ticket counters in their existing home.
DELTA will move from Terminals 5 & 6 to Terminals 2 & 3.
What YOU Need to Know:
EFORE heading to LAX, clients MUST check-in online, print their boarding passes and confirm their terminal and gate.
Clients MUST allow extra time to plan ahead and time to transit terminals if necessary.
During the move, DELTA flights will operate from as many as four terminals (2, 3, 5 and 6) on certain days. DELTA will use their APP and text messages to update clients on the latest terminal and gate information. Signs will be posted and extra staff will be on hand too.
Three neon green buses will be available to shuttle passengers between the affected terminals.
Some flights will check-in at one terminal and depart from another.
All ground transportation (e.g. Taxi, Uber, Lyft, Shuttles) and airport partners (TSA, CBP) are being updated on the airline's new homes.
Have clients look for signs and staff to help direct them. Pre-security, staff in neon green vests will help direct passengers and answer questions.
